On behalf of landless dalits, landless squatters and unorganized settlers, applications have been registered in Jalkanya of Ward No. 3 of Kamalamai Municipality on the basis of verification of maps and lalpurja was distributed to 17 local people.

The Lalpurja distribution program was conducted on the Chairmanship of Mr. Khadga Prasad Chaulagai, Ward chairperson of Ward no. 3, and in the presence of Mr. Ram Kumar Poudel, district chairman of National Land Commission, Mrs. Manju Devkota, Deputy Mayor of Kamalamai Municipality, Revenue Office, Sindhuli, District Coordination Committee, Sindhuli, Mr. Devraj Poudel, Coordinator of Archiving Work and the Ward chairperson of Ward no. 9 and the distribution of Lalpurja Program for the remaining local people will also be conducted soon within a week as said by Mr. Mukesh Tamang, Head of the Unit.
